BIOGRAPHY:
Silvia Tejada was born in Pucallpa, Peru in 1958. Despite her clear talent for artistry in her youth, Silvia was forced to select a more economically productive field because of the financial risks commonly entailed with being an artist. She made a career in restoration, a field related to the arts but not her choice. Fortunately, today, 20 years later, she is married to a well-known impressionist painter, Jose Lopesalcedo, and she has evolved into one of the best floral painters in Suth America.
