Absolutely adorable brooch made of Mexican Silver overlaid with abalone and black enamel shows a dog which closely resembles a Basset Hound, sitting in profile, peering upwards. The dog's large floppy ears and tail are black enamel, alongside other small enamel details on its abalone body.
