From the Lauren Ralph Lauren in a size 12. There is a small weighted section that goes on the inside of the dress to make the neck drape down. It has a beautiful embellishment. It does have a front slit. I am not sure how to describe the color of the dress. It is somewhere between a blue and a purple. I am not sure what color it is closest to. The dress is in good pre-owned condition. There are a couple of minor flaws. At the top of the slit some of the stitches are slightly loose. On the bottom hem, there is some piling that goes maybe 6 inches or so up. It is on the lining of the dress and on the outside of the dress. It would not be noticeable unless you are looking for it, but it is there.
Armpit to armpit is about 19 inches and stretches to a max of about 24 inches.
The waist is about 14.5 inches and stretches to a max of 21 inches.
The slit is about 23 inches.
Length from armpit to hem is about 51.5 inches.
Length from the top of the shoulder to the hem is about 61 inches
